Making Up For Monday: Dry Spell?

Have you ever stopped reading for a long period of time?  If so, how long and why?

Shockingly the answer for me is yes. It was a really long time ago and it lasted for several years. I still read newspapers and magazines, but no books. To be honest I don’t really remember why on earth I did quit reading novels, because I’d always been a huge reader. Whatever the reason, eventually I found my way back to the books that I love. When I started again it was mostly contemporary fiction, then I went back to my first real love which was mysteries and thrillers. Next I added in paranormal, and finally I began reading romance novels a few years back…and here we are :)
